Have you ever thought about how English became a global language? The birth of the modern language was a slow and natural process, that took centuries to take place. Today, over half of the world’s population speak English as their native language.

Ever wondered how a language with so few speakers can become so important? What is the process of globalization, and how does it affect us? Well, this article will try to answer all these questions.

Why did English become the ‘global language’?

English became a global language, thanks to human collaboration. Our ancestors learned and communicated with other groups through trade, diplomacy and war. They formed written languages based on their local dialects. These local dialects evolved over time into distinct speech communities expressing themselves in English – As the number of English speakers increased globally, so did its importance in business transactions all across the world! How important is it that we have a common tongue when communicating?

Ultimately, English increases the chances of doing business, as it serves as a lingua franca that facilitates trade and collaboration across national borders. See also, why is language important.

Why do people speak different languages?

There are many reasons why we need to learn another language. The most important reason is because it allows us to communicate with other communities in a wide variety of ways – Even if they don’t understand your native tongue, you can still share information fluently! It also prepares us for the effectively diverse world that we live in, as well as creating career opportunities.

Why English?

English is perhaps the best of all world languages. Its strength lies in its vastness, as it has been colonized and influenced by various people from a wide range of geographical locations – this makes it a universal language that can be used to communicate with anyone! But why are so many countries teaching English? Why isn’t French taught worldwide if everyone speaks French (Frenc)?

In 1816, a paper was published in The Athenaeum by Charles Batten – he concluded his paper with “The English tongue is…the most convenient form of communication between nations. If Greece had been taught solely with an intention to enable them to speak French or German this concession would never have occurred.”  This talk sparked controversy amongst some people who thought that English should not be the global lingua franca as no other country has ever adopted it. Such claims also reflect the cultural and political conflicts of that time.

English – an attractive force to unified nations: England’s rise was fueled by its appeal as a “universal language” driven by globalization and technological advancement after the industrial revolution, which allowed them to sell their goods across long distances easily unlike previous countries with native speakers of languages like French (Frenc), Spanish or Portuguese who couldn’t do so. Now the reason I have been talking to you about why English should be a second language of India is due to economic growth and industrial revolution and globalization… After 100 years of Shakespearean plays, we witness that in 2014 – what?   We are one billion people removed from being able for English conversation!!  What can be better than knowing these languages! Use it as an opportunity, like Panama adopted Spanish after gaining independence from Colombia …  Have you noticed how most of the people in Panama speak Spanish

Panama adopted to use as second language after gaining independence from Colombia!

Why was it important for England to become an empire?

As I explained they could not speak which language. English was always going to be the world’s dominant tongue because it had made a lot of progress since languages were created by humans many years ago and brought across oceans populated by other people (like natives) but no one did anything different aside from changing words around to adapt them for each new continent that followed or countries founded differently then those already there before… Every nation on earth has its leaders and they feel the need to show that their country is in command of their region.

When this desire gets translated into great power, it rapidly becomes a dangerous situation for any other nation. The British Empire eventually became extremely strong but at the same time left many nations very skeptical about which way lies wisdom…After all, you are always surrounded by those who would want to make sure your culture doesn’t spread around too far!

This is why the world’s seven continents are numbered in a certain way. Any civilization that is successful not only considers well-being when reaching high levels of power but also wants to maintain their culture and idea about how things should be said by all people who reside within its boundaries .

All in all, the English language is still the most influential and widespread language in the world. There are many nations that have a different dialect of English, but all of them can understand one another with ease. In fact, English is one of the easiest languages to learn for people who want to learn a new language. You May Like learn English
